Nice set of pictures, great to see DHL and UPS moving in dayllight.
Germania has had its planes leased out to Hapag Lloyd express for a while but have been operating as Germania again for some years.
They were certainly flying under their own name in Germany last year, so you must have been unfortunate not to see them Culpano.
Germania is converting form B737 to A320 familly at the moment with a number of planes coming from the bankrupt Hamburg Int airlines assets.

Like that Germania scheme.

re: the Germania. I didn’t know they were still going. Did a Germany tour last year visiting Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover and Nuremberg and didn’t see one Germania plane.

Thanks Culpano, they are taken from crash gate 3, which is at the end of a road/track in the village of Castle Donington. Take the road from the AeroPark into the village and turn right at the Nags Head pub. These shots were taken early evening as the sun has swung around. The aircraft have landed on 27 and have taken the fast turn off, except for the Germania which is taxying out.

I think the Germania departed from the paint shop. It wasnt parked up at the terminal, and I didnt see it when I did a drive round. It left using its reg as a callsign, guess I timed it just right.
Thankyou kindly 🙂

Wow – the DHL and UPS graphs are great. Where is this photo spot please ? What runway direction are they on ? Are they taxiing in, out, landed ? I would drive down from Manchester even if I got shots of just those two. Excellent.
