Enjoyed four great days at Eastbourne in and around the Beachy Head which involved a little bit of walking about from time to time.
Thursday was sunny. Friday was sunny with excellent visibility. Saturday was bright with a little sunshine at times. Sunday started out sunny but someone turned the lights out during the Reds, the first display of the day. It also became windy on Sunday which made it almost impossible to pan smoothly
All the images are downsized versions of high res images that I have already edited.
Pictures taken mostly with 40D plus Canon 500mm IS lens and a few with 30D and 100-400mm lens.
I will post more images later of most of the other aircraft including the Reds.
I think the pilots put up a great display of flying.
Thanks
Martin

There is a Coastguard one G-BCEN which was on the first episode of Britian from Above and looks like this http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1101866/ based at Manston and does maritime surveillance and search-and-rescue duties in the Dover Straits area .The other one which you took a picture off is based at headcorn with the parachute club  and dropped the Tiger parachutes off at Eastbourne 🙂

G-BECN is he one I saw at the Lydd air show a few years ago taking off to go somewhere.
Thanks

I am not sure but I think it did a pass on another day as well when I had just arrived. I thought at the time it was one operated by the Coastguard (having seen it a Lydd air show a couple of years ago) but I could not see any detail and I did not have my camera out.
Thanks

Fantasic shots, amazing clarity.
I love the fact that you can get shots of the tops of the aircraft, there can’t be many places where you can do that!

Well in view of having received only two comments, I can only conclude that my pics are c–p.
Martin:)
The majority of threads in the Airshow Photos section of this forum produce at maximum 2 reply’s. Pictures are great as always. Love MK356 in it’s new paintscheme.

Superb shots….all of ’em.
One thing though….those Red Arrows shots. As an old Eastbournian I cannot for the life of me make any sense of those images. Please tell me its not Eastbourne? If it is, I’m losing my marbles!!
