n the past, Beachy Head has been a good place to photograph aircraft arriving or departing the air show just a mile further down the coast from EastbournE
However, it was always hit and miss so in order to make the most of it, you would have to go most, if not all the days of the show from Thursday through to Sunday.
But not this year.
Due to new CAA regulations, people watching the aircraft from Beachy head are being treated as a ‘secondary’ crowd line (i/ a crowd line outside the air show show ground) and as a consequence ware told to stay well away from Beachy Head.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight however had no problem at all particularly on Thursday when it came in and our the Beachy Head way quite close
Also, on one of the days, a Police helicopter was on a shout.
When I woke up Sunday morning, I could not be bothered to go back for the last day on Sunday to put more money in to the car park ticket machine.

Is this a fact or an assumption ? Only asking, as I don’t know.
Very nice pictures all the same.

Great pictures, Martin! (as per usual).
I particularly like the second JP shot. Thanks for posting!
