Does FSM stand for “Full Scale Model”?
I thought it was real! There must have been hundreds if not thousands around at the end of the war! At least enough to have a couple of real ones, anyway. Although I guess they were very much hated objects at that time.
Hi Peter 😉 😉 Anna 😉 😉

Is the V-1 at DX? Given my recent interest in the little buggers, I might have to go see one up close (there is/was one hanging from the ceiling at Hendon, haven’t seen one in ages! :()
Two at Duxford (the one outside is an FSM), one at IWM London. Can’t move for ’em.

Still the same situation as in previous years. One or two odd people about who seem to have taken exception to the preservation of aviation heritage.

Think you’d need to call up first if coming in by air, restricted number of movements and all that…..
Any news on the number of movements? Any chance of an increase? Or do the NIMBYs still rule in Norfolk 🙁

…..and to think you were only a few miles away from a wonderful warbird collection….
I saw that collection (or at least the airfield) from the air a few months back but thought it would be rude to drop in unannounced. I’m sure I could find it again though!

By: 92fis - 29th March 2005 at 10:59
Is there a Thorpe Abbots instalment of “Readers’ Wives”?
No Robbo we were too busy trying to find the elusive TURNIP fields of Norfolk. :diablo: Plus we had you on the phone trying to get your pictures back on the first page again. 😉 😉
