I read in my local paper today that Eastern were to launch a new route connecting Inverness with Newcastle daily apart from Saturday.
Doesn’t mention anything on Eastern Airways website, or on press and journals (local paper) website.
Anyone confirm?

NCL-CWL is flown by a NCL based J41 2 x Daily, the INV flight will operate in between the 2 Daily CWL flights.
I understand these flights are due to be operated by an extra J41 based at NCL, bringing the total of T3 J41s at NCL to 4 I think

Now announced on their website.

Er, bit confused people, as Easterns flights from CWL were supposed to take off yesterday, but BRU & ABZ still are not bookable, and theres limited choice on NCL too! Whats going on? The J41 has been parked up here for a while now.

Wozza, it was Aberdeen it use to carry onto. BUT like I say Air wales never went to Inverness so it’s it is not keeping with snapping up ex-Air Wales routes
Hope that clears that one up

How’s that when Air Wales never even operated to Inverness??? Not even from its home base at Cardiff.
Eastern Airways, Do operate flights into Inverness from Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds/Bradford though.

Wouldn’t surprise me as it is in keeping with snapping up ex-Air Wales routes
