Eastern/City Star plans for ABZ in 2007?

Both have alluded to expansion at Aberdeen for 2007.

Anyone suggest which routes they would be looking at?

City Star have 2 more DO328s due & have been advertising for cabin & aircrew recently.

Eastern previously said they had 4 routes in various stages of development from ABZ.

I could imagine more Norway with City Star, as (like Eastern) they look at the business end of the market.

Eastern said they were going to launch a CWL route, but nothing happened, & I’m not sure which routes they would be looking at now.

Indeed not, isn’t last flight today?

Something to do with LCY owners ramping up charges for smaller operators using the airport, in an effort to restrict ops there to larger aircraft.

There could always be a direct London City (LCY) route, which they have from Newcastle.

Not for much longer 🙁
