How about this one?

I think it will be really interesting. For a start the A319 has MAX 145 in high density seating but has not got as good a range. So will EZY be forking out for more fuel?
Me myself I prefere the Airbus fleet because of their fly by wire controls and they are just so sleek.
Let me know what type of aircraft you prefere!:D

will be nice to see some orange A319s – been at LPL a week and already fed up of orange – except when its got a new reggie!

So will the A319 eventually replace all the 737s?
I’m certainly looking forward to seeing a lo-co running Airbus instead of the traditional Boeing!

Well i reckon if they dont get rid of one type of aircraft then their operating costs will soar higher, generally Airbus aircraft have a lower operating costs, also i believe they should transform their fleet to all Airbus aircraft and well gain a better fleet comonolity and also reducing staff costs for training on different aircraft types.
By: B777boy - 12th August 2003 at 01:55
how to operating cost differ between a 737 and an a319? isn’t part of the lo co philiosophy using one aircraft to reduce maintnence?
By: martin_EGTK - 11th August 2003 at 13:08
easyJet originally ordered 737NGs but about a year back decided they had a need for 120 new aircraft. They offered both Airbus and Boeing to make proposals and Airbus gave a better deal, thus they went for Airbus which will now be the backbone of the fleet.

From what I’ve read about Ryanair (I live in Australia) , it seems that they don’t give a toss about anyone but themselves really. I also saw that show about Easyjet and I liked it. If I’m going to fly around Europe with a low-cost airline, I’ll take Easyjet over Ryanair.

LGKR
i suppose its luck whether you run into trouble with any of them, however my experiences with both, EZY from LGW to Zurich and ryanair up to edinburgh, ryanair was running quite late, but not uncommen in the airline industry!
well i suppose i find easyjet better because it flys out of gatwick, also from what ive read about ryanairs ceo, micheal o leary, his policy is one of its a cheap flight, so you cant expect any real help from the airline if they go wrong.

I went to Liverpool on EasyJet once (I lived in Geneva at the time). It only cost 146 pounds (321 CHF) and was quite enjoyable. My sister flew Ryanair and called me on her cell phone after the flight. ” I slipped on a banana peel, the water I bought was stale and I’m 80 km from Paris. How annoying.”That’s what she said.
