Easyjet – A319's or 737's??

Hey,

I know easyjet have a mixed fleet of 737-700’s and A319’s, was just wondering if anyone knew their future plans becasue apparently they are beginning to retire their older 737NG’s. Are they planning on operating an all airbus fleet. I havn’t heard of any 737 orders from them or seen any new deliveries in a while.
There seem to be new A319’s arriving almost weekly though.

Thanks,
Rich

Yeh i would have thought they would all be sold off as they are still pretty young aircraft.

All gone by the end of 2011, with the first two or three to go in Dec this year to S.America, I think.

According to a mate of mine who used to fly for easy all 737s will be phased out of easyjet by around about 2010.

I am pretty sure that they said they will eventually phase out the 73G’s, and operate an all A319 fleet. As you say, they have no more 73G’s on order.
