I hope they confirm the rumour of EDI-Geneva. It would be great to see more EZY expansion at EDI.

Thats just bloody stupid. I mean, if it was an AF 747 going from NCL-CDG, then onto Mauritius, that would be OK. But anybody could fly to Paris fro NCL then onto anywhere in the world.

Sheffield City Airport (SZD) opened in 1998 and KLM inaugurated flights to AMS. Following the launch of SZD-AMS services, the city was full of KLM adverts proclaiming services direct from SZD to destinations such as San Fran, Jo’burg and Hong Kong. Of course, all were via AMS which was only apparent if you read the small print 🙂

Still no new EZY routes from GLA, despite the success of fledgling FlyGlobespan? EZY continue to cut their nose off to spite their face! A GLA-CDG route is there for the taking but, still, EZY knows best!

Maybe its just coincidence then, that AF’s flight times are the same as the NCL-Mauritius flight times are supposed to be. I hope its like that anyway.

According to Airliner World, easyJet is again allowing airports to compete for routes for 2004/5. Routes Ljublijana, Budapest, Cologne, Basle, Berlin etc were opened after a similar exercise last year. The airport has to be able to offer a 20 min turnaround time.

A Prague service would give baby and CSA a run for their money from MAN

You can fly anywhere from any airport really, if you connect like that.

You can fly LBA- Mauritius if you work it like that

How can they call that a flight to Mauritius?

If it were the same aircraft operating via another airport, that would be a flight to Mauritius. That, to me, looks more like a flight ot Paris.

No doubt they will launch services from Newcastle to Sydney sometime soon, too. NCL – LHR – BKK – SYD!

Someone on pprune reckons that the Mauritius is being flown by Air France via Paris CDG? And someone on airliners.net reckons that the NCL-CPH route and the BRS-CPH route will be dropped? Can anyone confirm this?
