RE: Easyjet / Deutsche BA
Watch this space..
I am fairly certain the Easyjet group will move to the Airbus camp, presumably with the A319. The recent 100+ 737 order by Ryanair must have made Airbus execs choke; they were probably still a bit sore from the Singapore A340 / 777 happenings too. I think they are absolutely desparate to have a lowcost carrier in the camp and will offer very favourable terms.
What’s more, A320-family commonality makes it slightly more attractive for a big carrier (I’m suggesting Lufthansa) to make overtures.
What do you think?

RE: Easyjet / Deutsche BA
I am told realiably that Barcelona is a area they would like to start a hub in after Edinburgh and Belfast!
I personally love easyJet and wish them all the well.
If they get DBA and Go they will probably go after maybe a lower cost airline but not full lost cost! Is DBA only 737’s for commonality?
If all goes ahead would this mean they would have holds on:
United Kingdom
The Netherlands
France
Switzerland
Germany
Spain – Over 5 in spain!
Italy
Denmark
Austria?

RE: Easyjet/ Deutsche BA
PLEASE EASYJET…..COME TO SPAIN. Too high Iberia uncompetitive fares. We need competence and low fares.

RE: Easyjet/ Deutsche BA
Yes they are turning orange!Inmy opinion something like this wasbound to happen to Deutsche BA (now known as DBA)as they really were getting rid of their BA subsidiary image and entering the low cost market.

hmmm – that could open another niche for Easyjet – Germany – a bit of an untapped market!
