My first post on hear folks and already I’ve got breaking news for you. I’m sure pay negotiations have been ongoing between the pilots, unions and the company for some time now, but in this morning’s Telegraph it’s made the business news.
It all seems a little bit odd.
The company announces an almost £7m increase in pre-tax profits, the week after they announce that about 50 M&A (Management & Administration) jobs are to go, some of which already have, and now we hear that the pilots are threatening strike action if recommended pay increases are not introduced.
It all seem rather odd, and inappropriate I must add in light of some of their colleages being asked to clear their desks………….
