Easyjey question

I recently flew to Athens from Luton on a B737 and when I returned 4 days later it was on the same aircraft! I was quite surprised considering how many of these aircraft are based at Luton!

Does anybody know if that was a pure coincidence of do the same aicraft generally ply the same routes?

I think is a mix of coincidence and the fact that they use the same aircraft on certain routes. For example EI only use the older A320s EI-CVA-D on the FRA route and others on other routes.

I would say pure coincidence, how ever sometime we tend to use the aircraft an the same routes, in the summer we used G-CELI and G-CELJ on alternate days on this:
MAN-EDI-MAN-BUD-MAN-AMS-MAN-IBZ-MAN
that was the aircrafts rotation for the day, with some small breaks in between.
unless EZY where doing the same for a while??
