EDI incident today (15 June 06)

Hey everyone,

I was out at EDI after cycling out for about the 10th time in 2 weeks. At about 19:00 hrs I hear on my radio that Jersey 207 Sierra had a control problem and was requesting an emergency landing. Promptly a fire engine went out to the runway and the Dash-8 Q400 was given landing clearance, after a smooth landing and it had begun it’s taxi. SOme guy on a bike stopped and asked what was up. I explained to him and he said there were a few police cars incl armed response and fire engines. I decide to investigate and there are about 6 police cars and 7 fire engines on standby!! Any more info appriciated
