Realising today was a school holiday and the sun was out, I decided to take a trip to EDI.
Saw the new Air Scotland 757, the tail is already worse, half gone, half left 😀 , unfortunately, I didn’t get a pic, one duo CRJ7 parked up looking lonely 🙁 .
Multi-storey car park looks like it’ll be ready in a couple of months at the most, and the taxiways are slowly coming along. Post the few pics I took ASAP.
Also, there are Continental Airlines billboard ads everywhere along the route to the airport! Go to see them doing their fair share of advertising. 🙂
duo, if only! 🙁

Just came across this pic and thought I’d share it. No it’s not one of mine. 😉 It was taken in 2002 and from what can be seen, not much has changed up to now, except for the multi-storey car park to the left of the pic right outside the terminal and the extension of the taxiways.
Up the top of the pic is one of the most popular spots at EDI, Ingliston- minus the purple gorilla as far as I can see. 🙂
A few cars can be made out.
Anyway that’s my slightly random post done. :p

They have ‘snappy’ slogans on them up here, one I saw said something like:
“From The Firth of Forth to Fifth Avenue”
GLA should get some too… “From deep fried Mars to Broadway bars” ! 🙂

£15 for looking through a fence! Don’t think so, anyway as you can see from the last photo, I did it for free, although I did procede to get the police giving me a hint, basically to get lost! 😉

One must remember that I am a grumpy old man.
I may be keen but not keenly naive… 😀 😀 😀

CSA is twice daily virtually at EDI now. 13 times a week maybe? EDI is meant to be a very strong route for them I’ve their 400’s at EDI also, they seem to swap and change quite a bit.

Scot Airways Dornier 328s. It runs between EDI and LCY every day.

The only duo CRJ left at EDI, looking so lonely. 🙁 This is the closest I could get to it. Taken from the GA area.

Here we go at long last! Don’t expect much, I’m not a pro! 😮
Start with a CSA 735 with the new taxiway work insight, just infront of the mud pile, and yes that is a tractor cutting the grass, What a Job! 😀
