Hi all, flew into Glasgow yesterday for a meeting and post that went to find somewhere to get shots of the aircraft at Glasgow……..got very lost so decided to drive over to EDI and was bitterly disappointed to see that the area by the fence where the market is, is now blocked off. I assume this is due to hightened security, I do understand and support the enhanced security but…..
I went over to the other side of the airfield and was pointed by a kind gentleman to a spot directly facing the tower where I got these shots. Weather wasn’t great (and my photoshop skills aren’t either) and didn’t stay long due to my flight leaving GLA at 1725. All the best..Si

Nice pics. Sterling MD-80 is rare at EDI. That Delta & Continental in front of EDI tower is a must have picture and is always nice. 🙂

Nice shots. I have’nt been to EDI myself in the present climate but I’m sure you would be able to park at Ingliston and walk down to the fence.
For a quick visit to the North side you’ve managed to catch a couple of things I haven’t seen myself. I like the Sterling MD-80
