Edinburgh Airport meet 24th May 04 (pics)

Met up with Bmused55, Matthew Murray, Martin EGTK and Bhoy today at Ingliston showground for some chat and snapping. Martin was driving his new car the “vaginal lodestone”. 😀 Nice meeting you albeit briefly, as I was laaaaaaaaaaaaate !

Nice catching up with Sandy and Matt again and finally meeting Bhoy in person after his trek from Glasgow by public transport. You just can’t miss that pink gorilla eh guys ? 😀

Here is a selection of photographs from today….

Now onto my next target, Amsterdam! muahahahaha

Yeah, but you’re not going to be there when I’m there. 😡 As Sandy said, Allen, absolutely fabulous. That Air Greece, errr, Air Scotland looks fantastic now.

Absolutely fantastic pictures! Especially like the CSA in that livery, I’ve been going up to STN quite a lot of evenings recently in hope of catching it. I always see it over my school or house, but never see it when I’m actually there to take a picture of it! I will catch it, one day soon 😀

That Air Scotland is at Newcastle every Sunday, operating to Barcelona and Palma.

Very nice Ren Frew, I believe John Travolta has got a Gulfstream, I saw this in the Daily Mirror a few months ago showing his house with his two parking spaces for his aircraft and he made his house so it looks like an airport.

Great photos. I remember seeing them extra titles on a KLM B737 at MAN,it was far away and it took me ages to work out what it said. Good shots!

The much vaunted easyjetville failed to materialise, with a solitary departure as I hiked over to that gorilla, and an arrival as Ren drove me back to Glasgow being the only movements.

I managed to shred two rolls of Film whilst attempting to wind them on 🙁 Although I did get one roll finished. Need to take it in for developing in Switzerland, though, don’t think I’ll have time to pick oy up on Wednesday if I take it in for overnight service tomorrow.

Anyway, nice to meet you guys.

And don’t forget that A319 that came in as we were driving back to Glasgow, If only we’d stayed another ten minutes and I could have snapped it. 😮

Shame about the camera problems Matt. Have a good trip home and hope you enjoyed your visit. 😎

Here’s a few more shots to round things off…

Great photos! I’ve been to Edinbrugh once and I didnt really see much except for British airways and Easyjet, I wasn’t in a very good place though, so I didn’t really see much.
