Edwards AFB Airshow

First thing I thought on seeing that pic of F117 is……….. what the hell happened to the concept of “Stealth”….lol Fly that over Iraq and you’re sure gonna upset a few locals. GWB may think ‘flying the flag’ is the way forward, but I don’t think it’ll catch on…. expecially on a stealth aircraft….lol :diablo:

Think that idea would not be very pc, cant go round waving the union flag, would be great though as you said.

Well it seems that Edwards ‘ave some good stuff on offer which I haven’t seen at any other air show.

I wouldn’t advise you to do that… The planes to be seen are nice, but there are huge waiting times between the performers. And you can forget about taking decent pictures of planes on the ground (some spectators go there for camping apparently, and use the planes as umbrellas -> “cattle” under the wings 😉

Besides, Southern California is far too fun, just to go for one day 😀

I might even one day take a trip over to the US and attend that show..seen previous airshow photos and they’ve been just as impressive 😉

Yes, it was VERY impressive, even if the TVC nozzles have been removed.
