Can any of you learned folk reccomend a good informative book on the EE Lightning. Preferably a hardback one that is easy to digest and has plenty of diagrams for a total newbie to read and learn from….I found the section on the Lightning included in the “Jet!…When Britain Ruled the Skies” programme very informative and want to expand my knowledge of the beast…..;) Thanks

I understand that NAM is currently developing some interesting suggestions in conjunction with the ‘Lightning community’ for this event next year – this may include some authors! 😉

Though more of a photo record of the last days of the Lightning than a statistics book, my favourite publication is Ian Blacks’ book, superb pictures giving a real feel of what it must have like to have been involved with the beast.
