EF Typhoon article in the May 2005 AFM.

Hi,

There is a nice article about the EF Typhoon in the May 2005 issue of AFM.
I’m quite happy with the nice photographs, especially the large ones on pages 45 and 48, and also with the serial numbers.

I have seen a photograph of ISPA2 (IS001) in which it carries the serial CSX7235 (instead of MM7235) because it will stay with Alenia.

There is a table on page 44 which shows which nation gets which weapon and in which Tranche.
To my astonishment, it seems to indicate that AMRAAM will only come with Tranche 2. Surely, that’s a mistake and that “x” should be in the Tranche 1 column?
Anyone?
