watching the history channel ,”Dog fight”, USAF F-15 pilot using AIM-7 shoot down iraqi MiG-29 head on,Ijust wondering since Mig-29 was equip with IRST,surely ,the IRST can pick up the missile plume and alert the pilot to take evasive manuever.but it seem’s to me the pilot has no idea they he being target by sparrow missile.
