EGNX 28 Feb: strong winds and a military flypast (ahem)

Hi,

Here’s my contribution to the short trip to EGNX with mr dowley, weather was a bit dull at times but was interesting to see the pilots battling with the 33 kt winds!! Here goes:

definitely NOT a straight approach

Northwest?

and finally a sight not too uncommon in this area, two harriers:

and F15s i think…

Hi sorry for the late reply, yeh that’s Flightline’s MD there, not too sure where it was headed!

here it is:

Great shots Adam. Did you by any chance get D-ABIB? It made 2x goarounds at MAN due to windshear at 300ft and requested a diversion to EMA.

No didn’t see D-ABIB in the end, what time did it go-around at MAN?

And thanks for all the comments, they’re very much appreciated!:D

Yeh not far from there, erm i’m not sure where they’re going but they almost always seem to be heading east!

Think the Harriers might be going to RAF Wittering and the F15 to Mildenhall 😉 That MD nose whats the airline?
