Official sources said that the recently purchased MIL 17 were not meant to be used by the RMAF.The Army Air Corps will take charge of the a/c.It is believed that the RMAF are eyeing on a more advanced helo.EC 120 were tested recently to replaced the aging ALLOUTTE 3 in training roles.Shortlisted helos EH 101,NH 90,COUGAR MK2 and S 92.With 10 initial MIL 17 at its disposal the Army Air Corps will be able to deploy heliborne troops more effectively.
