My first but short visit in 2010, together with a friend I went to the observation deck.

Wonderful shots Maikel..can’t imagine temperatures like that after living here for so long..and yes KLM did operate a DC 8 service here in the seventies

Maybe it’s a tribute? They also have a Boeing 747-400M PH-BFE called ‘City of Melbourne’. They used to fly on Melbourne in the 70’s-80’s.

interesting that there is a KLM jet named “Federations Square – Melbourne” considering KLM don’t Fly their jets to Australia let alone Melbourne.

Nice selection,i see most of the NW A330’s now are wearing DL colours,nice to see the China Airlines 747 still in AMS.

From the deck you are not able to see that very good, but what I could see was that there were no planes getting de-iced.
