Elvington Airfield

Only just came across this story via a motoring website. A judge has upheld complaints from local residents about the noise generated by formula 1 car testing at the airfield. What I found heartening about this story was the massive support for the airfield by the locals who have submitted comments to the local paper. It worth a read.
