First two of three charters taking the Formula One circus to Bahrain for the start of the 2010 season:


The third should be Emirates Skycargo tomorrow (Sunday) morning.
EMA is the UK airport used for the fly-away races at the start and end of the season (cars, kit and TV cameras are air-freighted to Asia, Australia and South America), so there will be more 747 action after the early long-haul races, and before the fly-away races at the end of the season.

Crash gate 3, end of Diseworth Lane in Castle Donington – soon to be screened off if other forums are to be believed. Missed the Emirates SkyCargo the follow day sadly – was out flying at the time!
