Embraer E190 as AEW/MPA/ISR platform?

I am curious as to why Embraer has not marketed its E190 aircraft as a sensor & mission platform ? The E190 has an excellent maximum take off weight of 51800kg, a range of 4448 km and maximum ceiling of 41000 ft, which out performs the EMB-145 they currently market as a mission and sensor platform. Surely this airframe could be fitted with a SAAB ERIEYE II AESA AEW radar, or a SEASPRAY 7500e, or the SAAB Airtracer system for example? Surely there would not be too much risk involved in fitting extra fuel tanks and internal payload / Bombbay, self protection system and DIRCM ETC. Would this airframe avoid strict US technology transfer regulations also? Just curious…
