Eh…? I thought they only received the plane at the end of July ??
Do you mean the 1000th flight of the airframe ?
OOPS, big correction, for Emirates read Singapore!:o:o
Singapore have four a/c, delivered 25/10/07, another one, 18/3/08 and 26/4/08. They have a temporary route to Beijing for the games due to high demand and now have completed over 1000 commercial flights.:)

Looking great in the Emirates livery, how long until Qantas get there’s to play with ?
When I saw one close up for the first time at the Paris Airshow 2005, I was slightly underwhelmed by the scale of the thing, somehow expecting it be much bigger face to face. Did you think the same ?
The first plane for Qantas flew on 25/1/08 and will enter service on 19/9/08.

When we started on the Ramp Tour we didnt even know it had arrived, up close it looked big, not as big as maybe i thought it would be, when it took off I thought it looked quite small, I videod the take-off, it was very quiet though and considering it was going to JFK it rotated well before the EK A330 that took off before it.
