Due to my Camera getting damaged to the extent that i cannot afford to get it repaired i am giving up spotting, i would just like to thank all the members for the comments that they left on my postings, and to kevinwm and fred seggie for all their advice and help, without their help it wouldnt have been as much fun as it was. Just one argument to settle before i sign out KEV THE Friggin SPITFIRE AND THE DAKOTA WASNT MY FAULT:p You were the driver that day mate 😎 😉

Good decision,Rab. Where would the dark side be without it’s dark lord??

Good to hear Rab….. starting on Sunday at EDI maybe… a day to rival the Belgian Fire day possibly, its full of French privates 😮 if you pardon the expression, maybe for the Scotland-All Blacks game.
Cheers

Crass comment.
Couldn’t agree more.
Rab, I’m glad to hear you’ve reconsidered! I always think it’s a shame when people who contribute to forums suddenly decide to stop. I’ll look forward to seeing more photo posts from you! 🙂

I can strongly reccomend the Fuji S5600 – got mine new for £130 and does everything I want, x10 optical zoom, large size photos, different settings etc, to me anyway it’s a DSLR in a compact clothing (although it even looks like a DSLR)
By: Boabby - 20th September 2007 at 19:30
Rab, if you look at my link, these were all shot with a Fuji S5600 at Edinburgh, and I’ll be selling it very shortly. It’s only about 4 months old, but I should have got an SLR to save all my lenses gathering dust in the first place. PM me if you want.

Rab! Ye cannae go geein up because yer camera got gubbed. No insurance ? ANYWAY, you’ll get it sorted out somehow. Even if you get yourself a non SLR to keep you going in the meantime. I still shoot slides on my SLR but I got a Kodak jobber with 12x optical zoom & image stabiliser on the Kodak clearance web site for 137 quid. Check out things like that. Until you get a camera of sorts you can still hang around at the airport with canvas, easel and oils and still capture these images ! 😉
These were with the kodak p850, so it works OK
