I’ve come across a box labelled as ‘engine mounting bolts’ which contains units consisting of a bolt and nut, tapered inner sleeve and an outer sleeve (tapered on the inside). I suspect that they may be from a Lincoln bomber. Does anyone recognise them or is able to suggest another application.

The diameter would be right for Lincoln, and probably Argonaut and Shackleton as well.
I thought I had done bearers I could measure, but they have all been cut off the plane with a gas axe, just outboard of the mounting bolts!
I think the length of the upper and lower sleeve is different on certain bearers.

Thanks Pete, the o/d of the parallel part is 27mm and it is approx 62mm long. Google tells me that that is 1 1/16 in.

They make that in various sizes, what is the o/d of the parallel outer part, the part which fits into the hole in the bearer?
