True however at least we didn’t change all our words as much as my Cousins to the South. And they do say that Victoria BC is more English than England is these days. Although I do believe tourism has much to do with this.:-)

…but I think you’ll find in English they are called ‘tyres’.
It’s only our ex-colony over the water that has the unfortunate habit of substituting a perfectly good ‘y’ with a spurious ‘i’
