Yep – he went from the RAF to being de Havilland’s Chief Test Pilot after the war. I never met him but he did come to see our Beaufighter restoration a couple of years before he passed away. A very nice guy by all accounts.

1 – Rather ashamed of this one… earliest memory is of kicking down my best mate’s wooden brick castle because it was better than mine. I was three… 🙁
2 – Probably the Beaufighter print I have, signed by the late Gp Capt John Cunningham. That’s very special to me for a number of reasons. Next most treasured posession is my log book.
3 – I wanted to be a fighter pilot. I got part of the way there, and was fortunate enough to get some back seat time in a Jag T2 along the way, but ultimately I didn’t make the grade. Long time ago.
4 – Jeans and t-shirt. Standard non-work rig really.

It was not an earbashing! I just asked if you bit your own toenails on a regular basis!
boy oh boy.
By: Flood - 24th September 2004 at 18:34
I am not annoyed – the idea of someone biting my toenails might turn others off, though!;)

By: Snaps - 24th September 2004 at 18:29
