Hi all,
Cars are evolving, with more and more ideas creating an alternative to petrol/diesel powered cars. And we could sure be all driving a car powered by an enviromentally freindly car in the next 15 years or so.
It comes to my question, will it ever be possible that solutions will be built to create an enviromentally freindly airliner?
I have only found this: http://www.livescience.com/environment/070615_easyjet_ecojet.html
Any Ideas on a completly ‘green’ solution?

She won’t fly if the Kerosene runs dry!
We need alternative fuels more than anything.

As Deano says, you can’t beat a turbo prop on short haul.
Long haul in the future some of this might be an option. It has fuel benefits as well as noise

Flew to EGC today in the DH8D, on the way down we had a fuel burn of 820kg per hour and a TAS of 330kts, You can’t beat that in a jet at FL250 😉
