Envisionment

Just a quick question,
what do you see as the enviosionment of a navy? Is it a Carrier, A Sub, a Destroyer or something else?

me personally it’s a toss up between a carrier and a sub.

Ahh Steve, I have that pic and the one with the A-4’s flying to the mooon, very funny.

Glenn, good answer mate. The reason I ask this is because I noticed the icon for the Naval Forum being and old destroyer and I was thinking of partitioning the Admin group to reflect something more inspiring.

Ja, if you are referring to what a Navy would aspire to have in it’s fleet, I would say Subs. Many fleets have not operated Carriers, but most, at some time, have operated Subs. The Silent Service could be considered an elite service of sorts, and they envoke fear into any and all surface combatants.
