Eos at LGW?

Hi all,

Yesterday whilst at work I noticed an 757 belonging to Eos parked on a remote stand near the North Terminal, just wondered if anyone knew what it was doing there, seeings as they usually operate from STN.

Are they considering setting up a base at LGW, would be good as there is not many flights from LGW to New York, although Delta have announced they are due to commence them sometime in November, I think!

And secondly, for all you keen photographers that live close to LGW, hoping to catch a shot of the inaugrial OASIS Hong Kong flight, I just thought I would tell you it is not due to depart until 20:10 on the 26th Oct, so won’t be much good as it will be dark by then…however it does arrive the day before (25th), but not sure what time, so you might be able to get a glimpse of it or even a shot of it landing!

Eos usually appear at LGW as a STN diverted – LGW is the primary div.

Weather hasn’t been cracking around the UK for most of the week so that would seem the more likely cause!
