The file size is limited to 75KB, for obvious space saving reasons. Most JPEGs should not really excede this, try reducing the size or the resolution of the image, rather than the number of colours.

If you’ve got Adobe or something similar, can’t you just reduce the image size, a bit. Then save it. That’s all I do if the picture will not load up. (I’m sure someone will come up with a better reply- I ain’t that computer literate!!!).
By the way I liked the picture of the Lizzie, good piccie!
