This is a presentation of an emergency of an American Eagle ERJ out of ORD a few years ago. Warning though this is 11.7 MB. It’s a self-contained file so all you have to do is click on the extracted file.
What it shows is the radar scope from the ORD TRACON as well has includes the radio transmissions.
Basically the ERJ had a trim failure that severely hurt their pitch control. It’s a long process for them to get back to the airport and they even had to go around on the first attempt. You can hear the strain in the pilots voices as they struggle with the jet especially as the emergency drags on. It’s very interesting.
