ETPS Beagle Basset XS743 – help please on early colour scheme c1989

Hi all

I wonder if anyone out there has some photographs of this aircraft in it’s PRE Raspberry Ripple colour scheme circa 1989. I believe that this aircraft was in the static park at RIAT 1989 and there are several photos on the web showing it from the side etc as per the following link

http://www.airteamimages.com/pics/63/63175_800.jpg

I intend making a model of this aircraft in the early scheme which I believe is white upper surfaces to the fuselage with Lt Ac grey undersurfaces and mainplanes. The fin is red and has a red cheat line.

The only thing I haven’t got is a view of this ac in the air showing the mainplane and horizontal tail surfaces and I have been unable to ascertain if there are red panels on the horizontal stabs and mainplane upper/lower surfaces.

Any help would be very much appreciated

thanks in advance

John

Testing Colours by Adrian Balch has a large landing photo 9/87 showing all grey tailplane undersides and small red wingtips.

Just to confirm, here is another underside shot from the sequence I took for my book.

Thanks all, I’d seen the previous photos before but I think it’s the last one that clinches it. Red wing tips and grey tailplanes:D

Not a flying shot, but it clearly shows just red wingtips. The tailplane appears to have a red tinge in this photo, but I’m sure that’s just reflection from the fin.
