A good selection there, Peter, but the first Air Europa 737 shot is quite blurry and the Emirates 777 is very blurry! It can be useful to view your original shot at full size before you begin editing (in Photoshop go to ‘View’ and select ‘Actual Pixels’ to do this). Looking at your shot full size will allow you to determine which are the sharpest of the bunch.

The fuselage in the second Air Europa shot is quite over-exposed as well. Keeping an eye on your histogram will be of great benefit in avoiding this! There isn’t really an ‘ideal’ histogram, but the information you see should generally sit somewhere between the left and right sides of the graph, and ideally also just touch the sides. If you have a line up the left side of the graph, you’re losing detail in the dark areas of your photo. You can notice this particulary in things like turbofan engines, where instead of seeing the detail of individual fan blades, the entire engine intake appears black. If there’s a line up the right side, you’re over-exposing (blowing out) meaning again, you’re losing detail. Note the red in the Air Europa title appears very washed out instead of being quite bold. Avoiding over-exposure will help keep details like these intact.

The rest are sharp and well composed. I really like the crop on the last Corsair 74 shot. It gives a good perspective of size. Nice work!

Hope that helps. 🙂

Paul

Thanks for the advice Paul will certainly take it on board

the last 744 wasent a crop that was the way it turned out

thanks again

Good set Peter.
Missed the lump and the Neos 738 coming in when we went down to PIK.
Good catch on them.
