According to a posting on the Dutch Spotters Mailing List (DSML) EUjet will commence flying between Manston and Amsterdam from June 14th onwards. An official announcement is expected the 12th of May.
Manston Airport is already investing in the required equipment, for instance X-ray equipment.
By october EUjet’s fleet will have grown to seven F100s.

They’re also due to start serving STN this summer.
With regards to Manston, I’m quite pleased to see the airport getting a proper operator! It has great potential, and I think it’d do much better than trying to build a brand new airport in the South East.

They have been rumoured domestically to be doing GLA, EDI and MAN.

I’m sure there is demand from Manston, there’ll be a large anough catchment down there. 🙂

Why would you consider it a definite route? Because AMS has a lot of loco’s? I think that if anything no new loco will survive an entry into AMS because of all the loco’s already present. The competition is very stiff!
Some of the loco’s here include Easyjet, Basiqair (Transavia), BMI Baby (and BMI “proper” is quite cheap too), Jet2, Helvetic (starting June), Virgin Express, Sky Europe…….
Now if they wanted to start flights to Rotterdam, Dusseldorf or Brussels I’dl give them a few more months. 😉

Although not definite, it isn’t too surprising, I’d predict AMS to be a definite route also DUB are they going to be doing any domestics? i.e EDI or MAN…
