Euro Millions

As the Euro Jackpot seems to get bigger and bigger I wondered what you lot would spend it on if you won-let your imaginations go wild with £125 million. I thought of getting as many museum airframes as possible under cover and of course buying a Spit, but wondered if philanthropy would cause as many problems as it solves.
Thoughts please.

for me, after putting it in a high interest savings account:
1. lern to drive
2. buy a car
3. upgrade my camera
4. lern to fly
5. Buy a house
6. Put a Hurricane back in the air as a 2 seater
7. And a Spitfire
8. Buy a share in plane sailings Catalina
9. Enjoy myself

I take it all these are on hold for now then Ollie. 😉

Aparently the money was won by 3 people. 2 French and a Belguim.

They certainly do, she must fly a good amount of hours a year and she still looks as good.

And the Spitfire’s not bad either. 😉

Who maintains the Grace Spitfire anyway? Is it the figter collection or Arco? Or does she have a team of people to do the work, or does she do it herself?

Who are figter collection?

I am reliably informed that you are wrong; they are not volunteers.

Ah. Hmm… I always assumed it was – nevermind, my bad. 😮

If I won that much, Id attempt to buy wisley airfield , then buy Brookland Vanguard, a Viscount, VC10 and recreate the whole Vickers test flights all over!

Wasn’t one of those used in the film The Island? Certainly looks similar, anyways.

It was also on Top gear last year? i think.

I’d buy one of these and fly to it in my Catalina, escorted by a couple of P51’s and Spits. Have I run out of money yet?

Didnt that go wrong a few years back and ground her for a season? I also thought they are looking for a new engine now.

Carolyn has two engines for ‘407. One in, one out.
