In the end it would not surprise me to hear that the airline had completely stopped operating. It would be a shame really as they do seem to have persevered and stuck at it.

EZY would be interested to see if any negotiation is available at all.

I would think EZY will be very interested in seeing what landing fee reduction Euroceltic negotiate!

The EuroCeltic saga continues, the crisis at Waterford has apparently been resolved. EuroCetic are prepared to continue the Luton route pending certain conditions including landing charges.
Of course it all depends on public support although I don’t see EuroCeltic’s problems easing quickly.

Aer Arran, seems a proffesional outfit. i think the Irish government may well have been better sticking with them than Euroceltic. I have read that Waterford Airport is about to close, if Euroceltic stop their flights to there. Its strange really because that was why the Euroceltic started, so that they could offer flights to Waterford.

I’m wondering if it would be legal for the Irish Government to cut their contract with EuroCeltic on the PSO routes as their service is now highly unreliable. If so one would think the routes could go to Aer Arran?

I think you are right, they will just end up with the Irish government supported routes.

Carl, are the not quitting the LPL-WAT flights? Just as you said there have been a number of serious problems, so much so that I believe they are quitting all the WAT services?
I only think the are staying on the PSO routes.

They seem to be having quite a bit of trouble. They re-launched WAT-LPL, took quite good loads but since their aircraft trouble everything is up in the air again (or not as the case may be !)
