Eurofighter being approached by UAE

Has UAE invited Eurofighter to bid because Dassault will not concede enough pricewise and UAE is tiring of negotiation – and might in the end opt for Typhoon – or is UAE simply trying to put pressure on Dassault to give their best price?

Perhaps UAE believe there is latitude for a price reduction by Dassault – which Dassault will not concede – and are reaching the point where they think that if they can’t buy what they want at a reasonable price, they will just have to buy something else.
