Eurofighter Typhoon or SAAB Gripen which is best?

The Typ has power and can turn on a sixpence plus when fuly operantional it will have a good array of ordinance for all types of roles.
The Gripen however can rough field it if it has to.The Typhoon rough field ability is unknown to me.The Grip can punch way above its weight and is simple to service and turn around with Swedens conscript personel.
So I’m leaning towards the Gripen.
Future up grade to both designs (new build)?Well I would put in a fusalage plug and a double wheel bogey main gear and internal weapons bay with conformal tankage,UCAV leader fit and vector thrust.
So which is best?European collab double engine or Swedish single powerplant?
