Evening all.
In response to a previous thread (http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=51381) I would just like to clear a few things up as the Chairman and original founder of the VA.
EuroManx Virtual were formed back in October 2004, and mirror the operations of the real world Euromanx Airlines to a certain extent. As real world routes/aircraft may change so suddenly, we operate on select routes that Euromanx have flown to in the past, or present. We allow members to fly any series of aircraft again that Euromanx have in the past flown, or currently operate.
We have a dedicated team of 10 staff members, including myself, who work around the clock to make quick changes, work on long term projects, and to resolve common queries or questions from the members. We are always open to new ideas, and feedback (both positive and negative – negative feedback is the basis for future advancements) from members, in order for us to provide the best service possible to all who join.
Not only do we make the VA a place to enjoy yourself, but it is also a great place to meet new people who share the same enthusiasm/hobby/passions as yourself. We take the time to get to know each and every one of our members individually, which not only improves member-staff relations, but also allows us to prevent future problems that may occur.
To make life easier for members, we only request that you file one PIREP per 2 months (which works out the minimum of only 6 flights a year), which means YOU choose when you want to fly! Our members are also includes an automatic, simplistic PIREP system, in which after login, you simply plug in the flight details and hit submit, which automatically credits the hours to your logbook.
For those that are new to the world of VATSIM, and online flight, we also have a fully independent training department, who work non-stop to make sure you get the training you need, when you need it. We are currently in the process of recruiting 3 dedicated FS instructors to provide 1-to-1 tuition at the members requests.
Maybe you would like to try your hand at instructing? Or take up the position of fleet manager? Either way, EuroManx Virtual offers a whole virtual world of choice to anybody shares our passion for flight. For more information, feel free to contact me or post here and I will endeavour to asnwer your queries.
On behalf of EuroManx Virtual, we wish you the very best for the christmas season, and hope you and your family remain safe throughout.
