Direct European Flights to Paris CDG and Galway

EuroManx Airlines have announced new scheduled services to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, and Galway Airport, on the west coast of Ireland.

This exciting news comes after the airline had discussions with the Isle of Man Government, making EuroManx the Island’s first airline to offer scheduled services to any European destination. With effect from 27 May 2005, EuroManx will operate direct, non-stop flights to Paris and Galway twice a week on Fridays and Mondays. These particular days of the week have been specifically chosen to offer Island residents the chance to enjoy short breaks in two contrasting, but fascinating destinations.

The new services are the latest additions to the airline’s growing network since its acquisition last year by a consortium led by Warren Seymour, now CEO of EuroManx. Mr Seymour said: “It is now time for EuroManx to explore beyond the UK and look at opportunities in Europe direct from the Isle of Man. We feel that Paris will be a huge success both for short breaks and the onward travel around the world available from Paris CDG. Galway, meanwhile, will open up a significant inbound leisure market to the Isle of Man which has never been serviced before and we are confident of its success.

“Paris is simply one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world and a direct, scheduled service in each direction can only benefit the Isle of Man, its residents and everyone involved with tourism here. To fly to an international airport such as CDG without a change of aircraft in the UK will save our customers time and money. We have extremely competitive lead-in fares, convenient time slots and our fabulous Avro RJ70 jet aircraft, resplendent in its EuroManx livery.

“Galway, also served by the RJ70, opens the beauty of the Irish west coast for the first time to the Island’s travelling public. The peace, tranquillity and charm of Galway and the areas of Mayo and Roscommon are extremely attractive options for a weekend break. The similar virtues of the Isle of Man are being delivered to residents of Galway and the west of Ireland.”

The Avro RJ70 aircraft flown on these routes will be the flagship of the EuroManx fleet, bearing the Three Legs on its tail and complete with an all new leather interior. Lead in fares begin at just £159 return to Paris CDG, inclusive of taxes and charges, whilst Galway fares begin at £119 inclusive, with fares subject to the airline’s standard terms and conditions. Seats go on sale from 18 April 2005 and can be booked online at http://www.euromanx.com or by phone on 0870 787 787 9.

So at last, the RJ70 will be used!

Also on the EMX site, shows on the map that SOU-VIE SOU-DUS and SOU-Eindhoven will start in May!!!
Is the Euromanx name appropriate anymore?
