EUROPE AND WW2

On the BBC news to-night (22/6/07) I see the Polish PM at an EEC conference stated that their population would be much bigger if Germany har not inveded them in 1939 and killed so many of them. The newsreader stated that WW2 should NOT be mentioned especially to the Germans. Does this mean that all I was taught in history lessons at school did NOT happen and approx 20 million people did Not die as a result of WW2 or are the Germans trying to cover up history for their advantage. ????:eek: 😮
