Event at National Museum of Flight 16th October

I’ve been asked to post the following information in case any forum members are interested in attending. Sorry for the relatively short notice.

12:00-13:00, Friday 16th October 1939, 70th Anniversary of the First Attack on Mainland Britain in the Second World War

To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of what has been called “The Birth of the Few” the National Museum of Flight has gathered Bruce Blanche and William Simpson, historians of 603 City of Edinburgh Squadron, and Jerry Trainer, historian of 602 City of Glasgow Squadron, to discuss the significance of this momentous event. They will share their research of what happened that day and the audience will be able to ask questions.

Admission free with normal museum entrance fee.
