Mr. Edwards stored his aircraft not far from where I used to live.
One thing I can attest to is they were in a dry climate…something the UK isn’t.
Having not seen them I won’t venture an non-expert opinion. But having lived in the UK and west Texas, I’d be willing to bet that might be one reason if the aircraft are in good shape.

I know of aircraft in Texas that have been on outside static display for 50 years and are still in one piece…I’m not sure many UK -based aircraft can say the same.

The website suffers from poor translation and has not been proof read. My own use of English may be roepy and I crant type but then I am not trying to portray myself as a top class business when scribbling here.Using incorrect aircraft type references in the press release hardly inspires confidence.

Karsharn #2 I tend to agree with you. The only “Battle of Britain” they were in was the film.

Also very interesting to see footage of one of the aircraft firing up and cycling the gear. If this is the same occasion I read about on another forum it involved nothing more than changing fluids and pulling it out of the hangar. Impressive given all those years in storage!

I may be being pedantic but it seems a shame that they keep referring to them as Messerschmitts
