Made a list and tried to collect information about the gliders of Two Rivers Gliding Club at Laarbruch.
Please take a look. Should you find any mistakes, wrong photos etc don’t hesitate to inform me.
There are some questionmarks in the list, Some photos are missing.
557: the photo is not of Ventus RAFGSA.557, but of a Standard Libelle 201B.

What type of glider is the Laarbruch Listener title showing? Is it an Astir?
No. It’s a Ventus c. Trigraph 210 should be relatively easy to tie to BGA or RAFGSA registration.

That is not an Astir. Not really sure what it is though.. Looks like a Ventus to me.

The advert was at the start of the year -it might well have disappeared.

Help! I cannot get the eBay link. It is bringing up an Eddie Stobart truck model.

Add another one to your list:
RAFGSA.258, a Gö.4 II s/n 6060 (license-built by Fokker in 1948). The former PH-178 that became BGA.1642 afterwards. Was flown from RAF Brueggen in the 1960s. Identity not 100 percent confirmed, but pretty sure.

Thanks for the quick answer.
On the museum website I assembled all the Laarbruch related crashes and fatal crashes.
Fatal crashes
If you do not want to give the name here, I would appreciate a private message. hwk95301@live.de
Meanwhile I had a look at the Laarbruch Listener magazines of the following months but I couldn’t find anything about this accident.

I don’t know whether it is appropriate for me to post the name of the pilot but I think this accident involved Grob G-102 Astir CS RAFGGA 511 which spun in killing the female pilot.

Searching old newspapers I found an article about a glider crash.
A glider from Laarbruch crashed near a house at Weeze on Sunday, August 16, 1987 around 3 p.m. The female pilot (29) was killed in the crash.
She had started from RAF Laarbruch. So perhaps she belonged to Two Rivers Gliding Club” The article stated she was English, an experienced pilot who had flown gliders for years.

Sorry, the articles are from a German newspaper.
I’m still trying to find more information in the Laarbruch Listener magazine.
Does anyone recall this fatal accident?

A few more to add to the list:
504 Schleicher Ka 6CR; D Woodcock, Brüggen by .84; damaged 7/8.86
Does anybody know what became of this? It was severely damaged in an off-field landing near Maashees (Netherlands) July 30th, 1986 when sideslipped into the ground (have seen pictures). Would be interested to see what happened to it…

589 is a Raab Doppelraab 7 (s/n 02), it was built by a German club from plans in 1955, first flew as D-5391 before ‘going RAF’. It was languising at Laarbruch in the 1980s when rescued by a gentleman from The Netherlands who beautifully restored it to fly as D-5391. It has been in secure storage near my home for some years now as he has too many aiorplanes and too little time.
520 is Ka.6Cr s/n 6222, the former 6222. I have a write-off date of 6Apr1976, which would make a lot more sense since in 1974 it was still flying in The Netherlands.
