Info received today suggests that these a/c are only at Bournemouth for engineering work to be carried out by European. Ultmately, they appear to be destined for South America.

If my info is correct, I can’t understand why they have been re-regd. I don;t beleive the a/c broken up at Prestwick were.
Auto Direct bought twenty aircraft and spares for $10m. Auto Direct are a major supplier of spare parts for jetliners as are European Aviation who started business in 1989 with a spares holding for BAC 1-11 aircraft. The possible scenario could be that E.A. didn’t want 20 aircraft and have persuaded A.D. to sell them one or two saving A.D. ferry costs? 😉 Incidentally, the two aircraft in question were registered 2nd December!

Would not contradict you on that point, you are probably more correct and up to date than I am! 🙂

I was informed that these two particular a/c were purchased by European Aviation for spares. Is this not so now?
